Public Transport Terminal
The Hague
OVT Den Haag is the Central railway station in The Hague. The station was predominantly rebuilt due to accommodate the arrival of RandstadRail rail, but also due to the fact the number of travellers has increased to around 250,000 per day.
The terminal was designed by the architectural firm of the Crouwel. The Hague central is a modern public transport terminal. The striking roof construction (approximately 120 at 100 meters and 22 meters high) is constructed of glass and steel. The main hall is a light, spacious and a well-organised. The updated station features a diverse range of shops and catering venues and facilitates for travellers and visitors alike.
